The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative showcasing divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences growing in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of heroes who will split off from the main group to undertake their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group features Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

With an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Introduction, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might seem out of place, but the actions of the third episode show why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the team understands precisely where to go next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose death started the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

Casimir then cleared his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the group access locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that govern Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This results in them little choice but to travel to the northern region in quest for the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the combat party won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight players to assemble the Seekers and Strategists parties.

Audiences can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on next week.
